Thats some pretty cool driving. How much does it cost - to block off those streets though? And the bridge - during the day. Some serious cash spashed out there to do that.

yeah I thought the same thing, especially that they are empty streets, not full of people who would pay to stand behind barriers and watch it for 5 seconds! 
 
BUt very cool though, love to be sitting in the passengers seat for that ride!

That was fucking unreal. WHere the hell were all the people? Surely there would have been some interested spectators throughout a city? Or was it one of those "empty city shot" kinda deals?

I remember Travis Pastrana doing something similar in San Fran where they would do all these practice runs where the crowds could watch and then they do a final take with people out of shot. 
 
If you look through out the video there are several track marks already in place so I reckon they did the same for this video. It's also not all one shot so they probably took a day or a few more to get the shots they needed by cordoning of different areas one at a time.
