Right I watched it, I don't know why, and I wish I didn't. Where was security to toss those fuckwits out on their asses? Christ on a bike, they set a new low for straight out stupidity. -
The spokesfuckwit Dhu seems to place a pretty low value on other people's lives and a lengthy shameful criminal history http://www.mandurahmail.com.au/story/2259509/two-mandurah-men-face-mandatory-sentences-if-found-guilty/

As per the article: the good doctors were expecting a few nutters, but usually they can carry on these information sessions in peace. This was next level.

So now, they'll need security guards, and let's hope no one gets hurt.

Did I say "no one"? I meant "no one except the shit puddles spouting rubbish".

Perth has a fair few big South African lads, and maybe even some Maori chaps, who don't tend to take idiot radicals lightly. I'm sure some of them are employed by security firms, or could be at short notice. -

Goes to show just how quickly things change from 1 on 1 to multiple opponents. You need to be SO much better than your opposition if you're going 1-n.
-
http://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/the-mistrust-of-science

Favorite bit

Scienceâ€s defenders have identified five hallmark moves of pseudoscientists. They argue that the scientific consensus emerges from a conspiracy to suppress dissenting views. They produce fake experts, who have views contrary to established knowledge but do not actually have a credible scientific track record. They cherry-pick the data and papers that challenge the dominant view as a means of discrediting an entire field. They deploy false analogies and other logical fallacies. And they set impossible expectations of research: when scientists produce one level of certainty, the pseudoscientists insist they achieve another.

Itâ€s not that some of these approaches never provide valid arguments. Sometimes an analogy is useful, or higher levels of certainty are required. But when you see several or all of these tactics deployed, you know that youâ€
re not dealing with a scientific claim anymore. Pseudoscience is the form of science without the substance.
