God, rugby is a great game.
I can't think of any other sport where you get to see Mike Brown dumped to the ground in a painful mess, or Mike Brown's face showing great disappointment after a failed try.

And bloody fair play to you as well. Irelands defensive line was utterly fantastic, and they took every opportunity which came their way. And having said that, every opportunity was one they created.

So the rot has well set in with the England setup. Eddie declaring after the game that some of the players out there today have played their last game for their country.
That's a really shit thing to hit an already demoralised team with. After all the pretend calmness of 'this is on me' changes when the reality dawns to 'my players let me down'.
If you are going to employ Eddie for a world cup campaign do it two years out, not four. -
