@Sneakdefreak so not playing in Denver then ...
(Mind you, isn't he Tongan?)

Jeebus but the Bunnies score pretty tries. Great depth and crisp movement. Towelling up the Eels.

Oh shit Jaryd Hayne is playing. Remember when he was a thing?

Got around to watching the replay - comfortable win (as it should be) for the Warriors.

A little R & R never hurt anyone: In their last game before the bye week, the Warriors looked tired. After more travel than any other team this season, and also a number of key players either injured or playing with injuries, the boys needed a refresher. Isaac Luke looked the most refreshed on the park against Manly, especially when he went WWF on Cherry-Evans by taking him to suplex city.
The SJ & Fus show: Shaun Johnson was back for his 150th NRL game and was at his attacking best. SJ seems to have stopped trying to be the organiser in the team, leaving that to Blake Green and Luke. This meant he could pick his moments to attack and it resulted in two long-range tries with David Fusitua. Fus bagged a hattrick and is nearing 20 tries for the season.
The real MVP: Shaun Johnson, David Fusitua, Isaac Luke, Ken Maumalo are all among the guys who played well last night but Simon Mannering was his usual high performance self. This is looking to be his last season (he seems ready to retire but wants to reach the 300 club first) as the team is ready to move on with Isaiah Papalii but he's still got something left in the tank. Really shut down some of the key Manly players.
What about the other guys?: Manly has been losing this season and are already eliminated. The Trbojevic bros looked tired backing up from Origin, Daly Cherry-Evans is hated by everyone it seems, Trent Hodkinson has returned to his old club but still can't tackle while their forward pack is talented but can't go the full 80 minutes. Add their salary cap woes and it's gonna be a long rebuild.
Best moment of the game: Ken Maumalo fending Cherry-Evans three times during a kick return. That moment switched the game around and the Warriors dominated the rest of the way. Plus it was fun watching Cherry-Evans getting swatted away like a fly not once, not twice but thrice.
@sneakdefreak watched the game last night without knowing score. Second half we showed real class to pull away from Manly.
The Manly forward pack are no slouches, but our props and second row are fit, tough and know how to ball play and really troubled them.
Combine that with Luke whoβs in career form and a halves combo that seem to have the freedom to do what they are best at. Plus a world class winger that can finish off out wide with pace or go through the middle like a dominant forward. Add them to some good honest toilers and solid players and we have the right sort of team to worry any other finals contenders.
Shout to Hiku whoβs was solid out the back for us. Fullback is a tough position to play in league and I reckon heβs doing the business. Heβs no RTS when it comes to ball running or running off the edges, but heβs safe and can make decent metres.

News that the Bulldogs are trying to 'retire' Kieran Foran so to free up salary cap space (Kieran would still get paid, it just wouldn't count as part of the cap). What a fall for Foran.
You know you have fallen on hard times when the Warriors wouldnβt take you back

Is it true the Warriors wouldn't take him back?

If Doyle was still at the warriors they might. Dude has got a few demons, and if there's any truth around the severity of his injuries I can see him finishing up.

@paekakboyz poor bugger seems to be yet another bloke who's life was thrown into chaos due to antiquated one sided custody laws for his kids.
Forgive me I've just watched the Red Pill (a must watch for everyone IMO) and can't help but notice the demons seemed to appear about the time his missus exercised her rights as an "oppressed" mother and wife.

@siam can't recall the exact details but wasn't Foran running with a pretty grubby crowd?? I do remember that radio show calling the parentage of one of his kids into question - which is feral imo. So I don't think it all rests at the feet of his missus, but all that shit going down would not have helped whatsoever. But fully agree that the use of kids to exercise power or pain on your ex or current partner is horrible stuff.

@booboo he was the dude with a dream!! actually I think he had several dreams

But the issue was the rest of us woke up while he's still dreaming!

The Tigers are basically in the 8, and yet i hear a story they are considering signing Robbie Farah for the rest of the year? Has Cleary lost his damn mind?

@paekakboyz Yeah man I've no doubt his fall was multi dimensional. Always suspect about media stories and bad influences but the wife split up and custody battle seemed pretty real and objective.
More though I spied an opportunity to haul out my brand new red pill soapbox

Wouldn't blame the ex-wife - dude had some serious alcohol and gambling problems and was being linked to some seedy crim underworld elements in Oz when everything came crashing down.

@sneakdefreak @sneakdefreak sure. I can't claim to know and don't, suffice to say, in my experience of life, gambling, alcohol and other addictions are symptoms of bigger issues.
But that's not to say my speculation isn't a load of bollocks.

Warriors their own worst enemies at the moment.
Just when they look dangerous and get some field position they come up with an error.
Not to mention the sloppy penalty against Isaac Luke for kicking 1/4 of a second after the shot clock on a line dropout. Gifted them 2 points.
