Sounds like they had a good time. Got to be smart enough to do it out of the public eye.

@mariner4life Harbourview Hotel is hardly the most private venue though - heck it's in full view of all BridgeClimb customers returning from their climb.

why can't the boys, now in their off-season, go have a big session at the pub? Like pretty much anyone else?

@mariner4life because their antics end up on the front page. Just like how the Chiefs antics (at a pub) ended up in the news. Whilst the media did camp outside a closed door venue the footage was bloody tame compared to this.

@stargazer Benji still on the outer, or retired from rep, or season ended injury? @Sneakdefreak Do you know which of the previous is correct? If it's just on the outer then I fear that our new coaching setup will be as idiotic as our last lot. We need experience in the halves for when Johnson gets injured or held back by the Warriors. Good to see Bromwich back though.

I thought Moses Suli was Australian-Tongan? Does he have a NZ parent?

Sosaia Feki obviously didn't get the memo that Tongan-NZers don't play for the Kiwis anymore. Either that or he'll wait until the day of the match before pulling out.

That's a piss poor excuse and one that the previous coaching group made even though he played through their whole reign of mediocrity. Adam Blair isn't going to make the next RLWC, neither is Issac Luke.

Fuck NZ league (Warriors and Kiwis πŸ™‚ ) annoys me some times.

I'm not saying that at all - this is a wider training squad. We have three halves total. We never get our full selected squad ever so it's likely one of our halves wont make it.

I'm not even saying I'd select him. But to exclude him full stop, and for the reason @Sneakdefreak has mentioned just seems silly. I can see the Kiwis starting another test with Harris in the halves.

Yeah but Blair and Luke are playing beyond next season whereas Marshall is not (although both Blair and Luke have suggested that they will step aside for the next generation).

I'm ok with Marshall returning but sometimes it's best to move on. Te Maire Martin will be the starting standoff anyway.

Clearly I haven't been watching the Storm enough because most times I see them he's been playing fullback.

This was such a fucking awesome try to win it against the dastardly Storm. I'm pretty pissed at this weekends game clashing with the ABs. Given this is a finals match I'm considering tuning into this and watching the ABs delayed (which is farking unheard of for me).

@no-quarter Media in NZ have been having a field day canvassing punters about which game they will be watching (which is kinda silly as it is more in the Warriors v ABs context rather than the Warriors in finals for first time in forever and the ABs against Argentina who have never beaten us...)

Argentina a legit threat these days but you know the outcome. Im watching the Warriors unless the Warriors turn up and then will be watching the ABS..

As noted I'm going to the Warriors game, but TBH, if I'd have checked the NPC draw and knew that the Magpies were playing on Saturday I would not have gone as I'll have to miss at least 30 mins of the game due to transport out to the wild wild west.

My uber-leaguie mate has already got offended as I told him I wont go next week if there's a clash with the Boks game.

@raznomore With the team we've chosen I think the outcome is more up in the air than usual.

@nepia Jahrome Hughes is also in the mix - he's the starting halfback for the Melbourne Storm.
