Watching the Women's road race - it's super relaxing because the commentators have already confirmed the result - the Great Australians are the strongest and fastest and bestest.

Apparently there's a small element of doubt whether they can make it 1,2,3. Someone else from the Commonwealth might not be totally useless.

Have to say, the Black Sticks women are looking very un-Black Stick like. Sharp and ruthless, all over the Aussies in the first 3/4. Wonder if winning that penalty shootout flipped a switch for them.

How is it great tactical thinking from the Aussie coach when they pull the goal keeper to replace her with a field player? It's gutsy, yes, but risky, too. Makes it easier to score for the BS.
