Quite special to have been able to watch two world class Kiwi batsmen in Martin Crowe and Kane Williamson in the last 35-odd years. Two of our greatest.

Wasted review, show some stones Nicholls and tell Kane he was plum. Anything less than a 250 lead would be a wasted opportunity imo. Agree with Smithy that CdG can shift the pace... But he could also go for fark all

You're saying he's not in that echelon? I'm really interested to hear the reasoning behind this considering he's arguably second batsman down on an all time BCs 11.

Well, that was more than showers. Serious rain at the park mid to late afternoon, so pulled the pin and bailed. Got to see Ton 18 for Williamson, which is one for the memory banks (and suck on that www.16tun.co.nz).
Nicholls looked good. decent judgement, when he played short stuff really kept on top of it. Good stuff. Should have told Williamson not to bother with the review though.
All in all, a good day at the cricket. not enough play, but some sun, some ribs, and some good Black Cap action. Enough for me anyway

just a cheap dad joke punning eighteen tuns with a beer venue. It's a good craft beer bar, for what it's worth. It just doen's have as many test centuries as Crowe, Taylor or Williamson

Hosed down. Stayed dry. Then hosed down again. Got wet three times being outside. Still worth it for a day out at the cricket that included Ribs, Williamson's 18th, and dominance of the english.

Deserved 50 for Nicholls. He takes some stick on here, myself included, but he's played some high quality innings against very good opposition in his short career to date. Worth perservering with.

Meant to be worse tomorrow than today! Fine Monday but it won't leave us enough time to get them out. If we get no play tomorrow we'll need to declare overnight and send them in on the final day

Cool. Accuweather says rain but I'm happy for them to be proven wrong
