Would have been just as bad in February, with all the storms. We wasted the best weather on the Windies and the Pakis

Extremely important wicket. The rest of their lineup is not suited to batting time to save a test, so weather permitting we are right on track for the win.

That may be so. But the pitch looks benign, surely the English batting line up can't do as poorly as the first innings?........
