That was a heck of a performance. Absolutely destroyed Aus on their own court.

Total team performance, Nweke and Drury are taller and stronger than their opponents, and the whole team played awesome. They must keep Grace, she is a must keep if we want to continue to win

Haven't watched much netball in recent years.

    Watched that 4th qtr.

    My goodness is Nweke good.

Defenders made Aussie shooters life hell too.

The Ferns and the Black Caps will both play for never before clean sweeps in enemy territory this week

    Great win.

The commentary is dire. Aussie down 12 late in the 3rd quarter and yet the Aussie commentator thought some issue with the opening centre was monumental - “a turning point”. Far out.

Love seeing our girls use their speed in the front two thirds.

Aussies don't mind a bit of contact huh?

Or am I a little biased?

They’ve been physical games, all three. But you could see their confidence take a hit when we upped our speed and found Nweke way too easy at times. Then the physicality upped.

They aren't shy about dealing it out. Good to see us quite happy to return fire

The refs agree with you - Aus got destroyed on the penalty count

    very impressive
not an expert . . but i think we've changed our style a bit
for years the aussies have played fast and we couldn't go with them (bit like what the ABs used to do to everyone)
we were big, but too slow
    now we're big and fast!
took the aussies on at their own game . . . and even stepped it up a bit!
aussies don't seem to have any answers
soooo good to watch an aussie team when the can't figure it out

Maybe Australia are feeling the effects of having so many imports in their much vaunted Netball League?

Now that NZ Netball have enacted the "Ngweke Rule", lots of our top players will join the Australian comp too. It weakens the domestic comp, but must be a positive for the strength of the Silver Ferns, with many of their best playing in a tougher comp against the Aussies.

Looking back, it seems the Aussies only offered us one Kiwi franchise in a revamped comp, and that's why we left

It wouldn't be a bad thing to have that team in the Aussie comp now, and keep our own comp running too

You can understand why Sky was only going to offer a reduced deal for broadcasting rights.

I follow the aussie netball league.
It's a quality sports league. NZ should want to be a part of it.
They just need suck up their pride; talk finances and sell themselves as an economic market (not a netball merket).
The NZ economy is about the same size as Vic and Qld, and they have two teams.
NSW also has 2 teams (NSW economy is a little larger)
That is obviously how the Aussies planned it.
When they revamped the league, Netball NZ should have been able to get two teams in to it, but not three.
In a marketing sense that wouldn't add up.

WA is also about the same size economy as NZ/Vic/Qld, but they only have one team.
The West Coast Fever are a power house sports franchise, and average crowds of 10,000 per game.

@mohikamo I assume the seasons overlap? If so it would take some serious reorganisation to allow for one or two teams in the Aussie comp that are separate from our own domestic comp, which likely means two teams in some cities
