Mind you, back in those days she and a couple of her mates followed the path of all the clever young and single Brisbane professionals on a Saturday evening, all the way out to Ballymore when there was a match on, to the concourse outside the "I May Be Available Bar" ***** at the north western corner, dressed in RM Williams / Country Road chambray shirts, moleskins and boots, casting their discerning eye over the premium stock.
If they chose to not make a bid then it would be back to town afterwards with the old bloke - somewhere pricey! - for more to eat and drink, then coffee and liqueurs.
