What are you listening to, right now................

@MajorRage That would be Justice...
-
@antipodean production aside
-
@antipodean I used to be on the same page. It's a fantastic album, undoubtedly, but shows how much I'm enjoying Hardwired. Seeing them live earlier this year does play a part in that.

Went to see the Pixies last night ... finally, I've been trying to see them 20+ for years.
Really good, but short concert. It's amazing that a band so inert on stage play such frantic music.
Next up is Living Colour in May! I'm slowly covering of all my favourite early 90s bands.

Playing here tomorrow, wasn't going to go because their new album sucks.
Did they mainly play old favourites? or the new stuff?

I hadn't listened to their new album, they played a mix - but to tell you the truth the new stuff (i.e. the stuff I didn't know) sounded fine.

Incredible musos. Vernon Reid and Doug Wimbesh are both awesome axe slingers.

Yep, as was Muzz Skillings - who apparently is still on good terms with the band and fills in for Wimbush on occasion.
Corey Glover was good in Platoon too :).

This is my nephew's new song and video. Released last week and been picked up by a few radio stations.
Very summery, pretty catchy, very New Zealand. Might do quite well.
My contribution, if any, was helping to instill the right values - including recognizing that the great Kiwi road trip can only be enhanced by bikini-clad Swedish girls!
