Anyone else watch Prime Rocks "Sgt Pepper's Musical Revolution" last night?

It was a fascinating insight into the recording and production techniques used in what was a ground-breaking album at the time.

Didn't see it but did you see the Neil Young one? For serious fans only I think

@jegga I'm not a Neil Young fan. I only watch the shows that are of interest to me.

@Tim I only really know him from the Chariots of fire album and the soundtrack to the Columbus film. They were both pretty good, not surprised to hear he's a bit eccentric though

@jegga As a recovering fusion-jazz dork and Miami Vice head, I do indeed!

ps. I recommend that you avoid his side project with Journey guitar player Neil Schon, Schon & Hammer, at all costs.

Stacey's Mom by Fountains of Youth (2003).

Not a particularly memorable song, but the video has had over 68 million views on Youtube ... and features a lass born in Glenfield ....

George FM: NZ’s home of dance and electronic music

George FM: NZ’s home of dance and electronic music

The home of George Breakfast with Lee and Tammy, George Drive with Sin & Brook, Does It Double, DNB Hundy and the best dance and electronic music and events in New Zealand.

Awful news if it's true, so much independent music on there that you can't find anywhere else. A lot of bands/producers have built their success on the back of it
