@Paekakboyz They've just added a second show. I saw them the last time in NZ as I happened to be working in Auckland that day and there were still tickets available.

they are still my favourite band, but i am not making the effort to go see them I saw them on the Lateralus tour and i wasn't impressed with the show. Great musicians, pretty boring concert. Not worth spending the $1,000+ to go

Its 1965 and the british music press think they have their own version of Dylan in Donovan . The two of them catch up in a hotel and Donovan busts out a a song. Its pretty good , then Dylan gets the guitar and if you pause at around the 3:22 mark I think you can actually see Donovans soul being crushed by the realisation he is not now or ever will be as good as Dylan

my kids made me watch the ARIAs last night, and most of it was the expected dross, but these guys, who i had never heard of, put on a ripper of a performance

@Snowy said in What are you listening to, right now................: @Nevorian That sounds remarkably like Tears for fears - "Everybody wants to rule the world" at the beginning. Even more remarkable is that I heard her sing - the visuals were rather nice in a dirty old man kinda way. The whole backing sounds like that song.
So much so that I would guess it is deliberate and credited.
 The structure hardly differs.

The structure hardly differs.Apparently yes: If it sounds a little familiar, it's because the song cleverly samples Tears For Fears' Everybody Wants To Rule The World, modernising the 1985 classic into a sleek little indie pop tune. https://www.coolaccidents.com/news/kita-alexander-back-after-2-years-between-you-and-i

These dudes have been together for 50 years now. I can't think of any other band that has lasted so long without any personnel changes for one reason or another. ZZ Top were the first major international band I saw live back in 1987. The crowd at Western Springs was reported to be ~80,000, which at that time was the largest ever for a concert in NZ.
