It’s funny, I always considered Smashing Pumpkins more of a band that girls are into. This is all very enlightening.

Smashings went all marmite for me. Siamese dream is on the best albums ever list, Gish is superb, Mellon Collie ... has some seriously good moments.
The rest ... Meh. Early 90's though, their impact should not be understated.
