What are you listening to, right now................

Found some old CD's in the garage. Loved listening again to Sky - my 2 favorite songs would be Tuba Smarties, and their version of Tocatta:

All music is better with drums and electric guitars added. Ahh, the good old days when the lead guitarist performs on stage in jeans and a sweatshirt :)

I'm cycling through the CD's i bought in '91 (everyone orders their music by the year that they bought them, right?)

MC 900ft Jesus

Meryn Cadell

US3

Carter USM (my favourite group of all time)

Been listening to a bit of Dr Feelgood recently just to appreciate Wilko Johnsons guitar. The real UK proto punk.
" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen />

For me the definitive song is "Nico on a Bike" by Wellington group from the late 80's The Inhalers

I'll try to find it. I think it is only on cassette somewhere, so need to find that, and convert to digital. Give me a couple of days...

In an effort to break out of my "listening to the same old shit for the last 20 years" i have started listening to Triple J. It turns out i have become my parents (i find myself saying phrases like "pffft this is just 80s pop remade" and "all this stuff just sounds the same") also i find the presenters annoying wanna-be cool pretentious dickwads.

BUT, i have found a few tracks i really like. Here's a couple

A Love Devine bu Saskwatch

[media]

Around Town by The Kooks (taken a live version cause the video is fucking long)
