I love this song. Think Zakk Wyldes guitar is such a great combo of dated, old school and metal. Bass intro is awesome as well. And Ozzy …. Class is permanent.

But this song for me is all about Wylde. Love it.

also Rage Against the Machine are amazing and if you don't agree then there is no hope for you

Just yesterday - I was watching the recording on Youtube of "RATM's first ever live performance" - October '91 - some shitty little festival, an audience of about 6 - eventually growing, but mostly just to watch the guy tripping out and dancing in front of the stage.
They had some pretty average songs in the set - but when they played the classics... sheeeit... the hairs go up on the back of one's neck.

There's another one from only a year or so later - at some College... Claremont - 2.8.1992, or maybe it's the one at Berkeley - and they're pretty much the complete deal already. Imagine seeing RATM - playing what would go on to be a fucking CLASSIC album - at Orientation week?

(I see the debut album was released November 1992 - so yeah, it makes sense that at this point, they had the songs nailed)

Hottest sound out of Morrinsville in 1978. Karl Gordon and the four Kaukau brothers.

A friend is working on a cover version.

Loved this album when it came out. I flattened many a battery playing this on my Walkman.
Reckless had so many great songs, this one, Summer of 69’ but it was the ballads that got the most play..

    Big fan too!

Always been a cracking track. Often forget how good it is until you hear it, and then play it again

    Another ripper track!

Both of those songs are actually bloody well written musically. Both very similar structure and my fav bits in both are about 2/3 of the way through with the solo and then bringing it back in for a more powerful version of the chorus. Can tell there are actual musicians involved. Much better than a lot of the crap we are served up today.

@mariner4life have a heart though, it's a sad song. Bet "everybody hurts" by REM doesn't even dampen your eyes

    How about the Italian version?
