Looks like Teddy Thomas held that up.

Well we won't hear England complaining about poor referee decisions now....that's an interesting call from the TMO.

Not much β€œclear and obvious β€œ there.

It’s almost as if there are two sets of protocols.

I was thinking that myself. This TMO seems to judge based on β€œlikely β€œ while last night’s one wanted clear evidence despite likelihood.
I prefer the β€œclear and obvious” method otherwise it is guesswork.

Better performance from England than in Cardiff. Especially in the last 20 minutes. Calmer heads in the main.

Which is annoying because there is no reason why that should not be the norm. For sure there can be times when guys collectively lose the plot but with England recently that IS the norm. Something not quite right in the squad I feel.

England pop back up to third in the world.

Was a good test match, I couldn't decide on that last try but was watching on the phone. English commentary team, it was clear and obvious try in real time haha

Glad we didn't play that England

Youngs could easily have played himself in to the Lions

Well Dupont looked a much better player than his previous effort (maybe he already had it then).

Conditioning is one thing. Not having played for a month is another.

Yeah, we can all remember pre-season training, thinking you're quite fit and then that first game of the season. There's fit and then there's match fit. Plus of course perhaps not being right on the button mentally.

Come on Scotland, we know you were a bunch of fluffybunnies at the last world cup but that was a temporary thing unlike Ireland, let's see you show you've stepped up a level.

BBC with the crowd turned up so loud, you can't hear the commentators or ref whenever something good happens πŸ™„

                            Ireland start fast, leading 8-3.

Still 8-3. Mostly Ireland with territory and possession. Hamish Watson keeping Scotland in this.

Stuart Hogg has been excellent again - probbly no.1 fullback in rugby ATM.

Highlight of the game so far for me was Stuart Hogg clattering Jonny Sexton. Beautiful!
