I know it’s the rules and I don’t blame the guy, or Townsend for picking him but to me it devalues international sport.
I’m fine with it. Getting his international training wheels before switching to a decent team for a real go at test Rugby. Long may it continue.

@Machpants I wonder if that was before the forced into touch law too. There was a law/rule that I vaguely remember it, if you were close to touchline and taken over by opposition, it was 'forced into touch' and so your team got to throw in!. Mind you lineouts were such a lottery in those days, it wasn't really an advantage.
Shit the games changed a bit since I first watched or listened as I only did in those days! Back in thsoe days the reserves acted as touch judges even at test level if I recall rightly! -

Yeah, but what a message to send to your own squad. I don’t think it was coincidence that Henry seemingly lost the Wales dressing room after the Lions tour. He’d worked wonders in transforming the confidence in the squad then hardly picked any.
