By the way, not mentioned in the media release, but they are still missing due to injury: Stacey Waaka, Gayle Broughton, Theresa Fitzpatrick, Kat Whata-Simpkins and Portia Woodman. Good to have Blyde and Brazier back though!

Haven't seen the games, but the Black Ferns beat Russia 26 - 7 and China 45 - 0, early this morning.

The only - potentially - difficult pool game will be the next one against England (who also easily beat Russia and China).

All the other usual suspects (France, Canada, USA, Australia) have also won their first two pool games, although Fijiana put up a good fight against both France and the USA (Fiji the last minute and half with 6 players due to injury), and France only narrowly defeated Spain.

Tough game against a good opponent, while missing so many experienced players, but the BF7s top their pool and are through to the Cup QF! Hopefully, Blyde will be able to play tomorrow. She got injured in the 2nd pool game, and didn't play (but wasn't replaced) in the 3rd.

Terrible hour for us in NZ, so I'll just hope they make the semis at 8.08am.
