Agree, but perhaps he is worth persevering with in this position. He did really well off the back of that scrum to get us on the front foot. He's also pretty good in the lineout, at the breakdown and has all the skills needed by a modern No. 8.
I wonder if he might be the best option to replace Read post 2019.

@nepia yep, as far as I know while the minutes are ticking, it comes off his 10 mins.
@KiwiMurph more just the bitching and moaning about Luke, and now we have a real rookie on the bench and someone playing out of position, who is fortunately playing well.

No they didn't. Quite the opposite. The YC clock is based on playing time.
What they did was turn the game into an 82 minute game rather than an 80 minute game. Thus reducing the percentage of time in the game that they have to play with 14. SBW only has about 5 mins on the sideline after half time.

In reality the Tongan has replaced him in game style if not position in this match - making heaps of tackles yet pretty ineffective with the ball in hand.

We've made a lot of mistakes but so have the Pumas. Still plenty to work on but good to see us take some chances and build a nice lead.
Agree @raznomore I think the future is ALB-Goodhue and the future is now.
