@bovidae The 22 on the early flight to Heathrow will pretty much be this 23 with someone individual staying, injuries aside.

Probably mo'unga so he can start vs Japan

Edit unless goodhue counts as one of the 22, in which case a midfielder will have to stay too. One of SBW or Crotty will be crocked so it'll be one of them

@machpants With Laumape and Proctor along with JB and Havili they should have enough midfield cover. ALB might draw the short straw.

Yeah but they need some experience vs Japan, and the coaches mentioned wanting to see SBW-Goodhue combo. Crotty to stay for experience and ALB go as better bench option? Who knows, the midfield is a mess

Yeah glandular fever can knock you back for ages, saps your energy, not ideal for pro athletes! Really he should be starting 13 for RWC, but he needs to get more game time!

@steven-harris your have to think the AB drs wont let him play if he isn't right.

Expect he won't be able to do much fitness stuff either, so maybe a role off the bench v England?

The coaches might wanna see him and SBW in the mid field, I think most fans would wanna see ALB-Goodhue.

@tim so Folau thinks his league experience will help his defence...12/13 are bloody tough positions defensively, and with Beale alongside him, potential for some big holes

And in a huuuuuge surprise, 24 players named...

Seriously, if we don't murder that team by 25 we have spent the week in Roppongi

With Folau at centre i definitely think we have missed a trick with our midfield. It's not one we need to run over, we just need their midfielders to continuously make defensive decisions. Lots of out-the-back plays to blind wingers and fullbacks?

Glandular fever is debilitating, had it in my late teens. Took about six months to get over, could still do stuff, just got really tired.

                        Ruined my All Black career.

@yeetyaah Cheika almost always names 24 players with one to be excluded, cos he's a knob and has no selectorial ability at all and the yes men that surround him give him no help.

From the article: "Allan Alaalatoa has been promoted to starting loosehead"

                                1. Allan Alaalatoa (29 Tests)

🙄 even the fucking domesticated RA journalist has no fucking idea about the front row.

I somehow think the ‘Tongan Thor’ (dumb name alert) is going to be in reverse in the last half hour. Laulala and Karl T is one fucking destroy unit of of a propping combination alone plus they will have a fresh BBBR behind giving it a nudge.
