But its been over a decade since I last watched the boks live and two decades since I last got to watch them square up to your bastards. So I feel no shame.
The RWC games I have been to are always a step up in intensity from normal tests. And the boks are a big chance. It will be amazing. Hopefully ultimately disappointing, but amazing

Last time I got to watch the boks go at the baddies in the flesh, Goldie and Bunce ruined it. But that game was incredible. Obviously I’d be much happier if we get up, but nothing in sport compares to a strong bok team facing the ABs in a World Cup.

@Smuts Really hope that Garces doesn't do something to ruin it for you (or all of us). I've hardly been to any AB games since Barnes big day out. You would think that AB versing Bok would deserve Owens, or at least someone competent (by that I mean not ignoring the laws to suit an agenda).

The refs are like the weather and the awkward bounce of the ball - parts of the game you hope your team adapt to as well possible. But ultimately beyond your control. Sometimes, like in Dunedin in 09, the weather and the ball break in your favour. Sometimes, like when Bismarck flattened Carter and got the least deserved red in rugby history, the breaks go against you.
Still, I’ll never give Hawkes for robbing us of two clear tries for forward passes that weren’t in the first test against the Lions in 97.

That's the thing with RWC.
You lose a test (perceived really - due to a bad decision, ignoring the other 79+ minutes of a match) and it is one kind of pain.
You lose a test series, due to a bad decision /s it's worse.
You draw a series that only happens once every 12 years due to one ref who is either incompetent or a cheat. That ups the pain level even more.
You get knocked out of a RWC.......F'ing really hurts. Thanks Wayne.
Fortunately, this is a pool match and both teams still have a chance regardless.

Maybe World Rugby should just cancel the tournament and hand out the places based on prediction articles.
