We did well to limit them to 324 but could have limited them to less. I give ourselves a fair chance of getting these runs.

Right on all counts, Gunner. We'd clawed things back to within the realms of par and then let it get away by bowling some goobers.

Let's see whether Guppy and Munro can get us away to a decent start. A "Guptill special" would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath on recent form.

Guptill is never pretty to watch when he is out of form but he does always come right.

geezus - its better to be shit now and try to come up with a solution by the World Cup, than be shit at the World Cup with not enough time to sort it.

Amazing how quickly we've gone from looking amazing, to decidely second rate - although Sri Lanka getting pantsed by the Aussies puts it in context.

I do like the changes we made to the line-up for today, it feels like its close to the best we can put together.
I feel like Neesham might be a better option that CDG - quicker at bowling - I never feel entirely optimistic with CDG at the batting or bowling crease.
I'd like to see us try Ajaz Patel in one-dayers - hes soo good at domestic level. I think we need attacking spinners, Santner feels like Vettori-lite and he was better at containment, rather than attacking.
And Munro - really needs to make India his bitch the rest of this series otherwise can Beauden Barrett play in two World Cups this year?
