Woeful batting performances all round so far, even Kane lucky rather than great. Hopefully this is just an aberration, as happens in ODIs from time to time and not a more ominous sign. How well we bowl will be informative.
@Cyclops 1st game of the series. It happens some times. I'd expect Kane and Rosco to bat a bit better in the series. Not sure about the rest though.

Don't think this pitch is quite as good as it was billed - holding a bit.
The Indian openers had several mishits before tea that didn't go to hand and Kohli just drove Santner aerially through extra cover that was either perfectly threading the needle or had his heart in his mouth.
