Nice work. That was the inaugural jersey. They changed it the following year

I figured shark was trolling but perhaps not. We lost 2 finals. The fog final vs the Saders and the other one at home to the Landers

I just had a thought, if Flynn was playing today he'd probably make the ABs - evidence Drummond and Hall!!! being called up.

A work colleague tried to argue that North Harbour also has never been part of a winning Super Rugby franchise (at the franchise's time of winning). That would require the affiliation switch by North Harbour from the Chiefs to the Blues to be AFTER 2003. I'm sure it was earlier & the Blues site seems to support it:
By the end of the 1990’s, a switch of provincial unions with neighbours the Chiefs, brought players from North Harbour and Northland into the Blues, and saw Counties and Thames Valley aligned closer to home with the Chiefs. -

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story.
I believe the Counties/North Harbour Blues change happened between the 1998 season and 1999 season (Blues played a home game vs the Reds in 1999 at North Harbour that resulted in a 12 all draw. It was an awful game that summed up the Jed Rowlands 1999 season).
Jonah played for the Chiefs in 99 when Counties were aligned to the Chiefs. Joeli continued to play for the Blues in 99, 00 and 01.
