It's still looking like there are 3 standout teams, in England, India and Australia (to a slightly lessor extent). We're in the scrap to get in the semis with them, and given what i have seen from everyone else, i think it would be a huge disappointment, and yes, underachievement, to miss out. Then we just need a couple of good days out.
I think India v England would be a cracking final, could easily be a 700+ run game.

So here's the table Everyone has four games to play except India (5) and Saffa's (3)
New Zealand 9

Australia 8
India 7
Bangladesh 5
Sri Lanka 4
West Indies 3
South Africa 3
Pakistan 3
Afghanistan 0
Assuming Eng, Ind and Aus will fill three of the semi-final places these are the remaining games for the other contenders (bar us coz we all know who we have)Bangles Oz Afghan India Pakistan

Sri Lanka Eng SA WI Ind
Windies NZ Ind SL AfgSri Lanka (especially) and Bangladesh aren't going to beat 2/3 title contenders
If we beat Windies next up I reckon they're gone and it would mean Pakistan would need to win every game. If they beat us then I reckon they could take us to run rate in theory.Effectively we almost certainly qualify if we can win 1/4 or if the other contenders drop a game elsewhere

Does anyway have any disinfectant. I feel really dirty. Bookie had a top scorer bet with bonus bets for every 6 scored. I picked Warner get $2 per six and he was $3.50 to top score. Not counting my chickens but more concerned that I want him to do well....but also not do well at all.
Oh well guess if I win McDonalds won't judge me spending my winnings.
