@Virgil yeah, first film in a while where I rocked up after opening day and got turned away because it was sold out. Kids were pissed, oops.

People still get tickets at the ticket counter? 😉

Endgame is going to be in the top five of inflation adjust box office - which is the most impressive part of all this.

@Hooroo what cinema is that? It sounds awesome - I generally wind up flat with my feet up on the seat in front of me so the lie down ones will be perfect for me.

Went to gold class for Endgame as I knew cinema would be full and I wouldn’t be able to put my legs. The foot rest didn’t go hire high enough though.

Most movies and tv shows have followed the Butterfly effect logic when it comes to time travel. Any kind of change in the past will have an effect in the future.
Endgame went instead with the alternate timeline.
Change something in the past the future will remain how it has happened, but another reality will play out instead.

It's a cool twist on things, but it's difficult not to question it. You'd think if you went back in time and killed Thanos and destroyed a couple of time stones that the future you came from would be impossible.

And with Starlord getting knocked out, wouldn't that completely change the GOTG timelines?

Its changed in that the new current Gamorra is not in love with star lord ( that version was killed back in infinity wars)

It’s at the landing which is the new mall and subdivision as you enter Tauranga from the Kaimais. (Tauriko)

They have done a really good job. Never seen front seats fill so fast.

@Nepia footrest not high enough, or legs not long enough?

But how could she have fallen in love with him in the first place if she never met him? This makes no sense. Brain hurting!!!

Watched it last night. Managed to avoid all spoilers.

Enjoyed it as a whole and it was a good conclusion to the saga.

For me there were some issues with people either powering up or powering down. Captain marvel can fly through a ship destroying it. But not Thanos or any of his baddies she has to punch them. Thanos was nearly beaten with a bunch of inifinty stones on Titan but with no infinity stones they can't beat him even with all of the avengers in the same place. Even with all the stones Thor beats him but he can't beat him with none. Captain America can go toe to toe with Thanos. It was just a bit inconsistent.

Best bits. Loved it when Cap got the hammer. Loved the comedy. Loved the conclusion. Loved Fat Thor

Didn't like. Black widows death was muhh she was a bad arse she had no super powers but fought any and all comers. To have her go out like that seemed weak. Think they let the Fat Thor joke run a bit long.

One of the first things my son asked after leaving the cinema was how Capital Marvel could carve through a massive ship but not Thanos, who didn't have any rings.

Just saw something pointing out it would have been cool to see Rogers taking back the soul stone and the Red Skulls reaction.

    Eventually saw Endgame this morning.

    Been avoiding spoilers for weeks.

First up 6 out if 10. Barely.

    Really quite disappointed.

Very little emotion. Hardly batted an eyelid when Ironman died.

A fair amount of too much of the boring characters.

I did follow the time travel this way that way stuff that the rest of the boo family didn't but I did feel it was kind of overcomplicated.

Didn't watch the Captain Marvel movie but by fuck she was an unlikable character.

Not enough of the likable characters from earlier movies.

Why did Thor retain his Dad bod? He's a God and could have morphed magically. Pathetic character.

Some other whinges I can't remember but I'll see what you peeps say and comment on that.

    Poohs.

    Very disappointed.

    Oh yeah.

    Battle scenes.

    Too. Fucking. Much.

A little less action so I can follow who is fighting who and who is actually winning (or losing).

    Was just a jumble IMO.

Only moment that felt off and tried too hard was the lineup of female hero’s all together, felt they trying to do a 2017/2018 Harvey Weinstein thing..

Yeah, not only weird and overplayed they went nowhere with it.

    Yeah cool! Kick arse chicks !!! ... and. ... and ... ?

Thor with his plaited beard was pretty epic.

Sorry ... reminded me of Tuffnut in HTTYD3

@jegga as I dont know these people personally, I dont really rate thier personalities (always exceptions) otherwise it is pretty shallow measure: looks and body.

Shes basically lorde or Eleanor Catton with much nicer boobs.

You get like for this part of your post!!

@taniwharugby said in End Game Thread full of spoilers:

@NTA new Hulk was interesting though.

Loved the scene when they made him walk down the stairs.

Also, a follow on to that, Loki picked up that stone and buggared off, assume that leaves him out there for another movie.

Yeah ... so where'd Loki go?

At $2.62 billion now, just $170 million left to get in front of Avatar. Two or three weeks at a guess.

Been watching it too, not sure it will pass Force Awakens in the domestic total ($960m)
But should hit $3 billion world wide though
    Just crazy money

DC must look at Marvel with so much envy
