It depends if the Canes want a ready-made starter with some experience or another 1st 5 to compete with Smith and Garden-Bachop for that position. I'm sure there are a few of the latter off-contract.

So maybe Barrett at 13 and Goosen at FB (VG the few times he has started)

I'm not making assumptions on whether they would/wont come back, I'm just commenting on the CEO saying he's happy to draw a line through them both.

An additional six players can be contracted (previously called WTG) who assemble fulltime and with retainers of $50,000.
