With the Canes 2020 squad announcement just around the corner, these are the 35 players that have already been signed. Apparently squads are 38 so that probably leaves room for one more loose forward and maybe another first five option, with Marshall covering Fullback aswell. We will also need another option to cover Rayasi who is playing for the Sevens team next year.

Can't see why they would import another when the position is already adequately covered.

@Higgins don’t forget Peter Umaga Jensen who is probably in front of Toala in that pecking order. I just don’t see Savea as a smart signing. I’d rather pick up another 1st Five like McClutchie and develop him.

The Bus is taller than Ardie and Ardie is at least 6 foot ten so maybe The Bus is will turn out to be this much flaunted lock Plumtree (who continues to persevere with a six foot three lock in James Blackwell) keeps tantilising us about.
