If the Canes can win a championship after losing Beaudy to the Blues and now Ardie to injury I will be astounded. Hopefully Du Plessis Kirifi can step up. Good opportunity for someone like Devan Flanders to step up aswell.
Who comes in for Ardie then? Are there any decent-ish loose forwards left in NZ?

@Canes4life Tate Evans and Alex Dabek are decent 7s. If Glen Preston (6) is back from injury you should grab him. Can Matich get out of his South American contract?

Jeez not looking that flash next season, now the positive gives Kirifi a chance to shine. I was kinda hoping they’d have a loose forward trio of Savea Kirifi and Evans.

Evans can play at 7, too. Maybe Flanders could get some early game time at 8.

@Stargazer holy crap, and this is before the season has even started...I like the look of the boy Florence from Taranaki , watching him at the Sevens on the weekend, has some engine

@Jonty-lean Only for Ardie, I think. Taramai will not miss too many games and isn't a starter anyway. Probably enough players (either on development contracts or not) training with the Canes during preseason. Would be great to know who they are!
