Damn - I wanted 270 and when Kane and Nicholls were together we were well on track for that.

Dunno what to make of that pitch - early on it didn't look bad, but it was promising (for our bowlers) that no-one seemed able to time it in the last 20 overs.

Seemed like the ball was holding in the pitch, so we should be somewhat hopeful that we've posted a score on a pitch that's playing tricks.

One thing is sure - we will pretty quickly find out.

Roy, Bairstow and Root - all out in quick succession!

@Chris-B yeah I think we're 30 - 40 runs short, unless England make a disastrous start there won't be a lot of RR pressure.

We're a chance given the strength of our bowling (ranked #1 for the tournament as a group) but I'm not convinced this pitch is as bad as the last.
