Another ton for Smith. Has played about 8 or 9 cross bat shots to balls that would otherwise cannon into his pad in front of middle.
Archer being saved for the new ball, but besides a short burst this morning hasn't looked near as good as Broad.

He is just at a completely different level to the rest of the Aussie batsmen right now.
Marnus Labuschagne would be earning lots of praise for his performances - except they pale next to those of Smith. -

Made 100 more than he would have done if Leach hadn't overstepped. He may have helped save the Ashes in the last game only to lose them in the next ....

A cardinal sin. I saw Roy(?) drop a sitter of a catch in the slips off Broad around midnight NZT too, the Poms had a day to forget in the field
