I don't think that should be a red card but that is a reasonable call from Garces based on precedent. Definitely no intent (which is irrelevant). I didn't think there was a lot of force in that.

Thing is we play a game plan which is all around the game opening up in the second half. Even if that were a yellow card, we would be 16-12 down and have only 14 players until 30 minutes to go. We would probably still win from there but you are asking a lot.

In the World Cup we need to play for 80 minutes.

I wonder when we last had the same backline start 2 games in a row. It must be unsettling having different combinations every week. The dramas at 6 and the midfield and now the BB experiment seem to be causing some issues.
