Just had the pleasure of watching that with a friend from Wellington. He returned to reading Jimmy Connors' autobiography shortly before halftime! 🙂

Hopefully Sione Havili's injury isn't too bad as he just came back from a long term knee injury. He was hobbling for much of the 2nd half and still topped the tackle count and got a couple of turnovers too.

Think we will regret not trying harder to hang onto him. I think he'll end up being better than Gibson.

@Dice It's just one of those things really. Someone had to leave Auckland as we have too many capable 7s.

@Stargazer but still better than all Hawkes Bay Magpie players.

Ta$man dominating, and to think people were calling for Goosen to be in the All Blacks.

By people do you mean Winger Goosen Senior?

@African-Monkey Just wish it wasn't him to be honest, as I think he's the one with the most upside of our opensides. He's one of the few two-way opensides around. One of those players who can add value as an attacker but also give you 15+ tackles a game.

Didn't see the game. How did Liam Squire go? Does he look anything like AB fitness and form?

@sparky Yes, he looked good. A few more games like this, and he's good to go for the ABs.

@sparky Dominating at a lower level as he does. Another flat track bully who always went missing in big tests.
