    And it's over.

Full time : New Zealand 40 - 0 South Africa.

It was always going to be tough for S Africa, who are the invitational team of the Cape Town Sevens, against the World no. 1, but no doubt they'll enjoy the experience of playing at home.

BFs didn't do anything wrong, but it wasn't really more than a warm-up game.

    FT: All Blacks 7s 43 - 7 Wales

The upsets in the men's tournament:

    Ireland beat Australia 26 - 21
    Kenya beat Samoa 24 - 19
    Scotland beat England 26 - 24

Not an upset anymore, because Russia's women's team isn't as good anymore as they used to be, but good to see Fijiana beat them 38 - 19. All other games as expected in the women's tournament.

Bit of a mixed bag from Knewstubb, Dickson looking very good and Ware looking sharp again. Rokolisoa looked pretty sharp in his short time too. Mikkelson winding back the years in a couple of moments too.

Fiji look to be developing a very familiar, very dangerous style. Short lines, numbers around the ball, keep it alive no matter what. So effective for them. I'm picking them to win.

Kenya redeveloping? That wouldn't have been that much of a surprise a few years ago.

@booboo Maybe; hopefully in time to add some excitement to the 2020 Olympics. They were pretty average during the last two World Series.

The commentators had been talking up the BF7s so much, that you could almost wait for it to go wrong. Very messy first half from the Kiwi women.

    HT: NZ 7 - 5 Fijiana

Geez, terrible pass from Williams intercepted. A few phases later Fijiana score again. I hope this is the worst game of the Cape Town 7s for the BF7s. Better play it now than in the Finals.

And then, just when Williams makes the break, she drops it dead cold.

Of the last 10 errors in this game, 8 were made by the BF7s. Geezus.

    Dispatch Canada 33-5.

Rayasi really needs to get back to 7s fit, get quicker and more nimble.

Rokolisoa is playing some of his best 7s, Dickson is in great form and even Timmeh is starting to wind back the clock. Liking what I'm seeing.

Is being an absolute douche on the rugby field inherited via surname? Perry Baker, all class, Japanese players put out their hands to shake at the end of the game and he just slaps them 5 and doesn't even acknowledge them as he's too busy trying to berate a team mate for Baker fucking a try up completely.
