@mariner4life said in Bledisloe #2: Oh goody, Jordie's back Quick line outs on a wet Auckland deck are our new recipe for victory.

@ACT-Crusader Ofa is a Crusaders player in waiting isn't he?

@ACT-Crusader said in Bledisloe #2: Surprised that with Goodhue, Barrett, Franks out of the starting lineup they’ve only bought in two Crusaders, Reece and Bridge. Doesn’t add up. I blame Fox. I blame too many non-Cantabs in the coaching team & support staff.

That side really stumps me. Are they going all out to win this or just testing combinations? Usually the away Jappie game gets the Possibles not the deciding Bled game.

@Chris said in Bledisloe #2: @Rancid-Schnitzel or is it a panic reaction I don't think Shag would panic even if his house was on fire and there were sandbags blocking all exits. I also don't think selecting Jordie on the bench is a sign of panic.

@akan004 said in Bledisloe #2: Jordie ahead of Ennor. Why God why! I think it points to the fact that they only see Ennor as a winger at this stage, and Laumape is also on the bench. The big loser is Fifita but very glad Hemopo is on the bench. I hope he makes the most of his chance.

@Rancid-Schnitzel tells us they are sticking to the extreme paced game with the 2 playmakers and 3 open sides in the 23
I just hope we are not throwing all our eggs in one basket. But Hansen is experienced enough to have something else to fall back on.
I like to have a few different game plans to use in case the opposition throw a curve ball
 At you.

I’m not happy with that team. It think we’re getting our selections and tactics all wrong. Aus will be licking their lips at the chance of finally getting the Bledisloe again.

 Keep 'em coming

@Tim said in Bledisloe #2: Ben Smith and Franks gone! Maybe it's just an experiment, but I think sacrificing Ben Smith is a big mistake, at least for the RWC. The selectors should drop the 2 starting 10 idea, put Smith at 15, and put BB back to 15 and RM to 10 around the 50 minute mark. You can't beat a mistake free experienced rugby player in knockout matches, and that has been proven multiple times. However, maybe they want to try out Reece and Bridge. I really REALLY think the selectors are missing a beat by not putting Ennor on the bench ahead of Jordie Barrett.
