I wonder who Auckland are looking at for back up locks to Whetton and Scrafton this season. I was just informed by a friend of his that Jamie Lane is not playing at all this season and a google search told me that Peter-Chanel Tagaloa is playing for the Gordon club in NSW. Does anyone know of any up and coming young locks in the Auckland system that might be looked at? The only one I've heard about is Felix Kalapu from Gtec, but I have not seen him play.

@Daffy-Jaffy Cameron Suafoa could be a lock option even though he's playing 6 for College Rifles.

And if we lose a couple of locks to injury, Waimana Riedlinger-Kapa might be asked to cover lock.

@Daffy-Jaffy Former manawatu lock Liam Hallam-Eames is playing for Grammar at present after returning from England. He must be about 24/25 now.Think he was Hurricanes development squad before heading overseas and could be an option this year

@Kiwidom Nice info mate, thought I recognised that name from somewhere. Grammar TEC just thrashed Ponsonby, did he play in that game?

@Dice Suafoa has signed with Ta$man. I think he played his first club game down there on Saturday.

@Nogusta Didn't they want him last year? Looks like they got it done this time.

Ta$man can now field an all-Auckland backrow if they wanted with Suafoa, Havili and Fox-Matamua down there.

Is Tone Ng Shiu aligned with Auckland? After years away, he's finally back playing for Pakuranga.

Marist have been playing halfbacks at 10 all season.

They should try to lure someone like Moli Faiva over next year.

@Magic65 North harbour don't seem to do weekly team lineups and have emailed them a few times over recent years to ask the same thing. Some clubs post their starting lineups on Facebook. As for counties, someone like @mikedogz might know

@Magic65 You may find the NH team sheets via this website. Click on the name of the clubs. It's possible that not all clubs upload their line-ups.

@Chris said in Auckland Rugby 2020:

                                          Inga Finau

Auckland needs more midfield cover, so that makes sense.
