That penalty was so bad I actually started to feel sorry for Sexton. Only for an instant, mind.

Some of the kicking out of hand by both teams has been pretty shocking

Ireland are really really poor. They have not turned up much like their quarter final vs us. Murray and sexton are finished.

Think he'll be haunted by that photo with Bono too.

Fark me, I'd bloody love to see a modern day Colin Meads deal with Farrell and his antics

Bono at a U2 rick concert, slowly clapping his hands: "Every time I clap my hands a child dies in Africa"

Loud voice from audience: "Well, fooking stop clapping then"

If you rewind and look closely I'm pretty sure Poite was just telling Sinckler to "cup his balls".

No better sight to make you smile than watching Johnny May think he adds anything in a maul.

Probbly Ireland's main victory over England on the field today

Fuggenhell. That's a late hit and if it's not late it's a dangerous charge. Where was the wrapping arms?

Can only think Poite thought the Orish player lost his footing. Bizarrely inconsistent not to have the TMO look at it.

Flat, low energy performance from Ireland. Almost like they weren't quite prepared for this game.

England have been competent and workmanlike and that's been more than enough against a poor Ireland today.

There's an Oirish bloke called "Doris" on the field.

Pretty much sums up Ireland today

Ireland seem better when Sexton & Murray departed.

Another performance like today and their days will be numbered.

                                      Ireland get a late try.

Not under the sticks sadly - and Sexton's off the field so we won't get the sheer pleasure of seeing another Sexton shocker.

Final score. England 24 Ireland 12. Bit of a mid-Sunday afternoon snooze fest.

                                          Highlights.

Bono's visit had an amazing impact on Ireland. After that Ben Youngs kick ahead (0:13), Jonny Sexton still hasn't found what he was looking for......
