    • What a weird All Black selection - the loose trio were clones of eachother.

    I remember at the time railing against the John Hart-initiated mindset of picking almost a 'tight three, loose five' with lock/flanker hybrids running around all over the place. Only 20 years later and I still feel passionate about it - two tall locks, one open, one tight and a loose forward trio that complements each other.

    Damn kids get off my lawn

    There are periods in that test where the Aussie attack led by these two was so dominant. They were getting clean ball and had runners just lining up. Scary to watch at the time...

    Had it not been for that first six minutes, the All Blacks would've been well beaten in that Test.
