Yes. Unfortunately council would probably end up like Taiwan:
Most of the people in our area who have actually managed to achieve any sort of property development have either been on council, or had close associations with councilors. Read into that what you will.
The housing crisis is unlikely to end under the current rules.

@snowy I re-laid all my drip-field hoses 18 months ago...one now instead of runing back and forth across the back section, runs around the perimeter of half my property.

@taniwharugby Hoping to do ours all power free and we have plenty of fall. Should be O.K. if we are 4 bed not 6.
