@mikey07 On the other hand choosing the Olympics might be too much of a risk because of Covid. He won’t want to waste another year away from the 15 man game especially now he’s hitting his straps. Hope he chooses the Canes, we need an explosive winger to replace B Lam.

There are - as yet unconfirmed - rumours that the Canes have signed Bay of Plenty halfback Luke Campbell.

He was in Canterbury for a while. Fiery little bugger never quite broke into the Crusaders/Canterbury system.

Agree. But he lost his position as a Wellington starter so unlikely
Although the Canes need two additional HB. One only for a year to replace Perenara. One an injury replacement. So both might only be for 12 months

Very promising First Five/ Fullback but I question the timing of his signing due to his age.

No choice. A player as promising as Ruben would be snapped up by another team.
Very happy with this signing. Hope he can be developed as a future 1st 5

Proctor was signed a few years back. But hes still only 22 so still time for him to come good. To me he's a center but needs a powerful 2nd 5 inside him. Maybe UJ at 2nd 5 might work
