Reading that article it also says that Reihana was only contracted for 2021 so no guarantee he is re-signed, now that he has moved outside of the franchise area.

The way it's been worded by rugby pass it seems it might just be a 1 year contract. Maybe he's just missing the Super season and back for AB's. I don't think there's any way he wouldn't want to play in the RWC.
