He had a couple of hiccups with the ball in the boot.
But @Bones makes a good point: how do yo target that? Concede a scrum 5m from your own line and let's them (us) try for a pushover?

If I was Foster (but I am not), I would take Hogdman on the bench instead of Karl T who has been in poor form lately. He has stepped up in the scrums and has a big work rate.
As Hodgman hasn't been released like Lomax there is every chance he could be selected ahead of Big Karl.
From the video footage at training today Clarke will be playing as Cane and Taylor were amongst players congratulating him.

You never know. We’ve just learned that @mariner4life is Aaron Mauger and it’s obvious that @sparky is Richard Thomas given he’s so quick to post every positive All Black cliche. And I swear some of those Hawke’s Bay players are moonlighting as posters, because who could be that invested....

Forecast isn't actually too bad for the day - it's the night where things turn bad.

I have to admit that I was going to go but when I looked at the price of a shit seat and combined that with the weather report I did a 'yeah,nah'.
Might change my mind at the last minute.I think many people have realised over the years that the cheap seats at the Caketin aren't worth the coin. Too far away from the action, too far away from services, a long walk to and from the entrance.
You can deal with all of that if the game is something special but it takes that extra desire to force the $ out of pockets. -
