One of my neighbours (Michael Cooper) gives it 3.5 stars
A drink-young charmer, the 2018 vintage (3.5*) is ruby-hued, fresh and very harmonious, with ripe, moderately concentrated flavours, showing some savoury complexity, and a smooth finish.

One of our neighbours does a very drinkable Pinot that sells for under $25.
Not complex but also very smooth and faultless.
Yield for Pinot grapes is low so anything really cheap usually is shite.
    As @dogmeat says 'define cheap'.
Compared to something like Valli, this is good value ie a third of the $ but certainly not a third of the quality.

    Pick and Shovel

Have had this, can confirm is good (like anyone needed my validation)

    Cheap Pinot Noir

    Fake News!

    Define 'cheap'...

Anything which tastes like sour lemon and Ribena and makes your teeth wince?

You can get bloody good, extremely quaffable, medal-winning supermarket Chilean or NZ Pinot's for $15 -$20 here in the UK. Why anyone would buy and serve undrinkable crap to save $2-3 is beyond me....

If you want to serve Two Paddocks at an impromptu BBQ with Tesco sausages you should feel free, I say.

I often do this just to fuck with people behind me. Especially if they stand too close.

I also like to see how slow I can drive the work car in the left lane before people will overtake me in the right lane.

I briefly thought "What a fluffybunny" - then realised... yeah, I do exactly the same thing.
They never get the fucking hint though. I might start buying an extra bag at the airport, putting it behind me in those queues, just to get some fucking space from the stupid-fucks who think standing 30cm closer to me... means they might be even 1 minute closer to ... standing around waiting in the fucking boarding area.

People who walk on treadmills in hotels.

Just go for a walk FFS. Girl beside me had 2:42 on her treading for around 10k. When there’s only 3 treadies stop being so fucking selfish.

I was thinking as I was typing that out... people have an irrational hatred of airports. But airports aren't the problem... the people are. So many fucking stupid people. So many.
The public, some of the staff, some of the staff who write policy, myself for getting riled by it.

    • People invading one's personal space just to stand 30cm closer to the ticket counter or Security check
    • People queueing up at the boarding gate, to get to their ASSIGNED fucking seat a little quicker
    • India/China not letting you carry a cigarette lighter through security, when other countries don't give a shit
    • Cook Islands for not allowing a cigarette lighter in hold-luggage, when no other country gives a shit
    • US-of-A for just being dicks in general, and implementing ineffective reactionary security measures whenever they suddenly get hit by one of the many loopholes in existing measures - which then become world-standard
    • Whoever it is that will eventually become the first person to use a bottle of duty-free as a weapon, and get that fucking banned
    • Boarding-gate secondary security checks... especially on the 2nd leg of a looong-haul flight, when I'm already fucking tired and grumpy and sick of this shit (not to mention plenty boozed)

this one i get though, especially on the old 3-and-3 skinny planes. They deliberately don't have enough carry on space for everyone, so if you want your bag up top close to you, don't board last

(the size of carry on bags now is another fucking issue)

Yeah - I think once, recently, I did hit the issue where I didn't have room to store my bag nearby... and kinda understood this one for the first time.
But yeah - people with fucking ridiculous carry-on... with me staring alternately at the staff at ticketing-counter/boarding-gate, and then at the little box supposed to be used to check whether it's of a reasonable size...
Of course - there are probably people out there who resent me taking on board the clearly illegal quantity of duty-free, ... but fuck 'em. It's medicinal, after dealing with all my pet-hates.
