@canefan I remember the one from ALB. Jordie leaves his wing open too often though which I assume is what people see with Jordan. I haven't noticed it.

Oh yeah, it was ALB, totally unloaded on him and he shelled almost every pass after that

If Rieko wants to be a centre then we have to judge him as a centre, rather than his body of work on the wing. If that's the case then no way he starts ahead of ALB and JG, he's just not in their class yet despite his obvious talent. He's on the bench for mine, coming on in the final 20 to get some experience in the position and wrecking some havoc. We shouldn't move him back to wing as he will never settle and realise his potential in the midfield otherwise.

At the moment we simply don't have a world class right winger. Jordan has the attributes but there are questions marks over his defense. So Jordie it is for now, as much as I'd prefer him at 15.

Wait what? You’re applying one rule for Rieko and then ignoring it for your boy JB.

Not quite - Jordie is filling in at wing, not a long term prospect there IMO. Rieko is up against two very classy midfielders. I think Rieko has the potential to be one of the best in the world like he was on the wing, but it's going to take some time for him to develop there at the top level.

I don't see why he can't play on the wing in tests, filling in like Jordie, while he's developing his midfield game at Super and in lower tier tests. He was the best wing in the world a couple of years ago.

I think playing Jordie on the wing is detrimental to his development and has the potential to cause him to take backward steps.

I am not sure anyone is attacking my post so I thought I would defend it: Goodhue is good at 13. Don't like him at 12.
I do however also like what I saw of PUJ and Rieko-good problem to have.

We have too many Barretts and not enough positions to fill

Decent player. Has good hands, a boot, and is defensively not bad either. He would go alright.

Don't get all the pissing and moaning from some Aussie fans about Toomua going down being the end of our Bledisloe chances.

Sure, on the day it shifted some stuff in a way that was unfavourable BUT Toomua's absence didn't give the ABs 2 easy midfield kicks to attack from. Tupou and JOC - looking at you.

Looks like Savea won’t be available for the Sydney test. So what will be the loose forward line-up?

Hope Akira Ioane goes in at 8.

@canefan I remember the one from ALB. Jordie leaves his wing open too often though which I assume is what people see with Jordan. I haven't noticed it.

Oh yeah, it was ALB, totally unloaded on him and he shelled almost every pass after that

Moment of the game for me. Saw Conrad do that a couple of times as well.

What I like about ALB is his consistency. He seems to have a really low error rate at Test level and I can't think of a bad game he has had in Black.

I am not sure anyone is attacking my post so I thought I would defend it: Goodhue is good at 13. Don't like him at 12.
I do however also like what I saw of PUJ and Rieko-good problem to have.

Yep. And it would be good to see these 2 get time off the bench and build experience and confidence at Test level rather than just throw them in.

Probably Frizzell - Cane - Sotutu with Papali'i on the bench.

Probably correct, but I'd like to see A Ioane - Cane - Sotutu with Papali'i on the bench. It would make the Aussies worry about backrow ball carriers and make space for the fast men outside.

We know Fozzie values continuity and minimal disruption so Frizzell - Cane - Sotutu seems the most logical and tbh I would agree with that. Akira on the bench might be nice but it leaves us vulnerable to a Cane injury so Papali'i 's versatility and ability to replace Fritzell at 60mins or so just makes more sense.
