That was shit. We need to have a rethink about the whole way we play rugby.

We just aren't very intelligent. When Hansen was coach, we would kick the ball a lot in the first half. Then in the second half we would keep the ball in hand and run over teams. Today, we also kicked the ball away a lot in the second half when we were chasing the game. I don't Beaudy, Mo'unga or any other first five we have produced since Carter is actually able to control a game.

I don't know what to say about our ruck work - it seems we just have too many players who want to carry the ball and don't want to be stuck at the bottom of a ruck.

I don't know what to say about our attack either. Argentina defended magnificently but we had enough opportunities to win that game. I think the final figure was a bit higher but to only run 126 metres in a game is disgraceful for any team, let alone us. I wouldn't think this bunch of players should need a lot of coaching on how to attack or break down another team.

There is a lot of thinking for Foster to do. If we lose in two weeks, his position is untenable.

This team has the most Blues players in it that we've seen in a while. I don't believe in coincidences.

Is this the most embarrassing result ever for the ABs?

Sydney game back in the day

At least that was against the world champions at the time. This is against such a lowly ranked team.

No the club game we lost, the Pat Lam game.

We knew Foster would be crap. It was his turn. That’s the extent of the thinking from the NZRU. He has no new ideas. A new team needed new thinking. But a horribly conservative selection process has condemned a lot of young players to the career epitaph of ‘I was in the first All Black team to lose to Argentina’. If he doesn’t resign, they need to sack him.

@hydro11 the running game is about creating space. We were not moving ball into space and when we did Reiko dropped it.

Both our hookers were disappointing, Jordie is still not a wing, Ardie is not a no. 8, Mounga was inaccurate, Frizzell/ Tuipolotu not providing impact to go with size - lost contact, Reiko not a centre.

That pass he dropped could epitomise his Test career at 13 (which he isn't). Two unbelievably dumb mistakes by him this year which have proved way too costly.

Get him on the wing in place of JB - he was bloody good there last week

It seems like a fair bit of that did come from the breakdown. They slowed our ball down well there.
