      Day 1
If you like it in 3’s, keep watching the C’s. Attempted 61 of em. The starting lineup alone went 26/41 from downtown. That’s crazy. There’s a moneyball analytics obsession going on with Coach Joe wanting a minimum of 45 attempts per game.
Hyped night with the banner hanging and the ring ceremony, but those sort of games don’t always play out like that.
It was one of those games where the offensive barrage demoralised the Knicks offensively. Knicks will be good though.

Lakers looked good-ish. T’Wolves were downright terrible at stages. Randle looked tentative and uncertain of what to do. Mike Conley who is one of my faves will either need to up his tempo or else they need to give the keys to Dante to run the show. They need to get on the same page or else Ant Man will get more and more frustrated.
The issue with the Lakers is the opposite of the C’s, not enough 3pt shooting. An opposition that like to shoot high volume 3s will always think they are a chance against them even if down by double digits. And the fact that the T’Wolves still had a chance near the death showed just that. If I was JJ I’d be given more time to the rook from Tennessee, Dalton Knect. He’s got a pure shot and has size too.

@voodoo yeah was a beauty. More plays ran in that one game by the Lakers than the whole time Ham was in charge….

          Love a good Iverson cut

Don't remember the last time I saw LeBron set 2 screens on a single play!

              Day 2
Well most teams didn’t want to give their home fans a win…. 8 of the 10 away teams won, and it should’ve been 9 if Brooklyn hadn’t gone into panic mode. Speaking of the Nets, Simmons actually looked good in the first half. Second half was poor. Bit of spice in that one too.

Old man KD clocked in some big minutes on opening night to get the Suns over the line in OT. And Beal rediscovered his jump shot, still only took 12 shots though. Needs to be more aggressive especially given then suns are on the hook for $50m a season.

Is there officially a new Splash bro in Oakland? Buddy came off the bench and with no conscious just shot the ball. Good to see him be a bit more efficient than what he has been on other teams. Steph was one rebound off a triple double. Looked like he didn’t get out of 3rd gear either.

Grizzlies v Jazz game was a decent watch. Ja looks like pre-glock Ja…

Performance of the night goes to Banchero. 33 and 11. Was basically playing bully ball with the Heat. I’m calling it now, the Magic will have the best 3/4 combo in the league this season with Wagner and Banchero.

I watched the Spurs, not pretty. Wemby was bit shit, motherfucker you are 87 feet tall, use that. you are not a guard. Doncic didn't look much better for most of the game and then finished strong.

Speaking of 3’s, what about Pritchard - went 1-9 on opening night including 8 straight misses. Today goes 5-10.

What about that behind the head pass by Luka to Washington for the corner 3pt. And how much time and space did Klay get because of Luka.

He’s the ‘guy next door’. He’s not about that thug life or really showy. But yet has the sweetest looking jumper ever. The fact he and Steph genuinely got along and both loved it when the other succeeded just added to the legend.

                          Day 3
C’s for the second consecutive game go up by 30 against their opponent (this time the hapless Wizards) and then go into cruise mode.

Ant Man and Randle had a much better showing. Offence seemed to flow whilst both were getting their shots too. Fox and Sabonis looked to be adjusting to how DeRozan plays. Murray was on fire. Good game.

Klay and that pure jumper came to play.

Denver has no bench and will struggle unless they make some moves.

                            Day 4
Warrrioorrrs come out and plaaaaaay. Buddy has filled the 3pt void. In fact I’m liking the Dubs bench.

Raptors, Knicks, Rockets and Bulls notch up their first wins. The Bulls win probably the most impressive. The 3 guard play from LaVine, White and Giddey really troubled the Bucks defence.

Lakers get another good win against a tough Suns team. AD playing the part. First Laker since Kobe in 2005 to have 30+ points in the first 2 games of the season.

The funnest, no defence played game of the night goes to the Hawks and Hornets.

First big name injury for the season with Dejounte Murray going to be out for 6-8 weeks. That’s a tough one for the Pelicans given the hype around his signing.

Look at the league records. The East has 2 good teams and a bunch at .500
The West is a shitfight of winning records.

Lots of Superstars playing well early in the year. Jokic is miles in front as the best player in the world, currently averaging a triple double.
Three players averaging 30 or more points.

OKC going with the smallest starting lineup in a long long time. Even smaller than when the Dubs started Draymond at centre.

                                      OKC had:
6’5 Jalen Williams start at centre
Dort 6’4 and Wiggins 6’5 at forward
SGA 6’6 and Isaiah Joe 6’3 in the backcourt.

They got the big scoring win against the Clippers. SGA has been far more aggressive on his 3 ball this season than the last 2. Averaging about 6 attempts per.

Now that was a fun game - Warriors v Mavs, Steph vs Klay. Tribute to Klay to kick off proceedings and all the fans wearing Klay captain hats. Plenty of emotion before and during the game.

Went down to the wire with Steph having to go Olympic mode in the 4th. Klay hit six 3s himself and there were some cheers from the Duns crowd when he hit some of them too!

Warriors have good depth and they are playing as a team with Kerr trusting his bench going 11 deep in most games.

Boys, I honestly don’t know how you can get excited about NBA regular season

It’s a complete farce, it’s barely watchable stuff.

I love bball as much as any of you guys, and it pains me that I can’t get interested until the playoffs start
