Understand the offensive bit, but we don't seem to have used it for some reason. The defensive bit makes sense if we're playing the Wobbles. But we're not.

@gt12 I didn’t bother to mention Jordie because I was pretty certain that they would select him, so wasn’t even going to go there.
I think Savea has played pretty well overall but thought they might spring a surprise and start Sotutu and use Ardie to close out the match.

Bit of a conundrum discouraging the opposition from an aerial bombardment when you could play the likes of Reece and McKenzie to draw in more good ball for counter attacks which are typically our strength. Playing Jordie with his height and powerful boot shows intention for attacking in opposition territory and playing safer in your own. That is my interpretation from what has been said.

We’re in our 22 and Argies fanning out and tackling well. Nuggie fires to Jordie and he boots it into stand.
Play restarts with Pumas throwing in 5 metres in their own half.
That is all.

It's a double-bluff - Pumas expect Jordie to boot the ball into outer space and set themselves up accordingly. However, Foster - the wily old fox - has other plans: Nuggie to ignore Jordie in the pocket and instead fire a bullet pass out to Mou'unga who quickly shovels on a hospital pass to JG, who's stood flat-footed as he's smothered by the Argie backrow well behind the advantage line. Genius deception from Foster & Co.
