All jokes aside this is proper shit for the people of Townsville. Probably been after this stadium for years, finally get the funding & get it built to use amount of plaudits and praise.
Then, finally get the real showpiece for the people of the town, an Origin match, and then get completely pantsed.
That is really shit. It's be like Canterbury getting a new stadium, packing it out for an AB's / Aus test then getting humped.

Qld have sucked. I'm not disputing that. But fuck me the ref is putting the whistle away when we have the ball.
It's pretty amazing that NSW can manage to put in a performance like this with the extra weight of Clearys enormous chin.
And as I write the rules have been rewritten. An offside player is no longer deemed to be offside as he had no bearing on the play. So by that logic the offside line...ahhhhhh c@nt. No point elaborating.
