Guptill is way past his best, time for a young one to step up. Far out we look ragged as hell against Aussie pace.
I know this isn't the same team, but anyone who wants us to play Australia in the WTC is mad
Pretty irrelevant given approximately 10 of the guys playing tonight won’t be there.
Pretty relevant, given our recent history against any Australian cricket team.
Given the shits and giggle nature of this format I stand by my point and the fact the ‘black craps’ are well and truly a remnant of the past.
Given the last Test series between these two sides, with similar personnel in both sides to now, I'd prefer India or England any day of the week.
(Especially if Stead drops Southee again to open the bowling with CdG and Henry.)
Meantime this game is looking more competitive.

Yeah I agree at test level, there’s certainly a degree of a mental block there.....but what we’re seeing now ? Not convinced

They were never going to make it. Wiki says Conway has an IT20 average of 58. Not sure that counts this innings. What a player. Another saffa cricketing transplant that we can fall in love with (other than Wags 🥰). Checked cricinfo and this innings was not included. His average will be well over 60 now

Jeesus, that's a hell of a comeback!
Conway was superb, kept making me think they were playing at Eden Park, such was his effortless striking.
Guess we've found our Rosscoe replacement, in all forms.Well done Beige, now bowl and field properly and teach those doubting Thomas's a lesson
